Face Lift

What is a Face Lift

As we age, the skin loses its elasticity and may start to sag. Environmental factors, genetics, and lifestyle choices can lead to wrinkles, fine lines, and a tired appearance. Many people opt for a facelift to rejuvenate their facial appearance, boost their confidence, and counteract the visible signs of aging. A facelift addresses sagging skin, deep creases, and restores a youthful facial contour.

How a Face Lift works

The facelift procedure, medically known as rhytidectomy, involves making incisions usually around the hairline at the temples, extending down and around the front of the ears, and ending behind the ears in the lower scalp. Excess skin is removed, underlying tissues and muscles are tightened, and skin is re-draped over the uplifted contours. Recovery time varies, but most people can resume normal activities within two weeks.
