Eye Lift

What is an Eye Lift (Blepharoplasty)

The eyes are one of the first areas where the signs of aging appear. The skin around them is delicate, and over time it naturally loses elasticity. Factors such as genetics, sun exposure, and the aging process itself can lead to sagging upper eyelids, puffiness, or bags under the eyes. These changes may create a tired or aged appearance, even when you feel well-rested and energetic.

For some, drooping eyelids are more than a cosmetic concern — they can weigh on the eyes, cause strain, or interfere with vision. For others, the motivation is about appearance: wanting the way they look to reflect how they feel. Both are valid and personal reasons to seek change.

An eyelid lift, or blepharoplasty, removes excess skin and recontours the eyelids to restore a more refreshed, awake appearance. The goal is subtle and natural — helping patients look like themselves, only more rested. For many, the result is not just aesthetic but also functional, improving comfort and vision while enhancing overall confidence.

How a blepharoplasty works

During a blepharoplasty, incisions are carefully made within the natural creases of the eyelids. Excess fat and skin are then removed or repositioned to give a refreshed appearance. The incisions are camouflaged within the natural creases of your lids and are closed with sutures which are removed after a week.
